About Us
We want every child to succeed. Academic success starts when young children are first exposed to learning environments. Our program helps children develop their cognitive functions: how they think, explore, and figure things out. With an emphasis on social and emotional development, we will help your child develop the interests and skills that will need as they continue to grow.
Children will graduate from Cornwell Early Learning Center ready for Kindergarten! We take the time to practice and develop our social and emotional skills so that we know how to get our learning needs met. What looks like a day of play is actually a skills-rich learning environment in which to practice those skills with peers.
Our kids will go on to many different elementary schools across the Twin Cities, and we will help them to be ready!
Our Family Approach
We use fun, research-based, multisensory strategies to help children develop early learning skills, including Creative Curriculum®, songs and stories in children’s home languages.
Ready for Kindergarten!
Health & Safety
At CELC, our teachers and staff are trained in pediatric first aid and CPR. They also undergo a full background study by DHS. We have an open door policy for parents where you are invited to visit at any time. Our classrooms are carefully designed for the developmental levels of the children in those spaces. Teachers meet with parents twice a year to track growth and progress, share child assessments, and set goals together.
