The Cornwell Early Learning Center is built on 30 years of involvement and engagement in the South Minneapolis community. As a part of Urban Ventures, we can provide unique experiences in an urban environment. We have direct access to the Urban Ventures Farm, the Midtown Greenway, Urban Ventures Athletics, and Urban Ventures Music and Recording Arts programs. Children will learn about their environment through hands-on experiences: planting, growing, playing, and caring for living things.

The Cornwell Early Learning Center is a program of Urban Ventures. UV provides cradle-to-career support for youth and families in one of Minneapolis’ most under-resourced neighborhoods.
Every day we work to invest in your child.
We use researched-based Creative Curriculum® and a constantly evolving emergent curriculum guided by the interests and discoveries of the children here at Cornwell Early Learning Center. Our teachers set up intentional learning environments that scaffold each child’s individual learning, guiding them to the next step no matter where they are at. We use authentic learning experiences and nature to learn about ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
